Official Invite from Women`s Federation for World Peace

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On the occasion of this year’s Africa Day we are honoured to present as our guest speaker Mrs Betty Makoni, a global award winner, renowned poet, speaker, gender activist and advocate for girls and women rights worldwide.

Please join us on this day to mark the United Nations International Day of Africa,
25 May, at 43 Lancaster Gate, London W2 3NA, 2.30pm – 5pm.

The program is hosted by the WFWP. Betty will speak to raise awareness about the universal scourge of violence against women, what we can do and how by collaborating our impact can become all the more powerful.

Betty Makoni`s official autobiography ‘Never Again’ is out and will be available for purchase on the day. We will also be viewing a short film “Tapestries of Hope”.
